Adoption Policy Reserved for Married Couples is Defended
The American Civil Liberties Union is up in arms after voters in Arkansas approved "Act 1" in November, specifying adoption only by married couples. The Alliance Defense Fund filed a motion to intervene Friday on behalf of the Family Council Action Committee, joining the state of Arkansas in defending against a lawsuit filed by the ACLU who claims that Act 1 is unconstitutional. [citizenlink.org] Those folks at ACLU seem to get upset at every whipstitch. If it's good for America they just can't seem to be happy with it. Poor folks need to know they are loved. If you are anywhere near an ACLU office, why don't you send them a Pizza and just sign it "With God's Love--Your friends in Christ." (What does ACLU stand for anyhow? Without A CLUe? Anti-Christian Liberties Union?? Anti Civil Liberties Union?? I think I'm getting closer, maybe.)
Oh, well. God Bless 'em anyhow!
